Andrew Gale
My practice includes drawing, printmaking and mixed media painting. I am inspired by the natural environment, exploring landscapes. Walking is an important aspect of my practice.
I run workshops and curate spaces.
I curate Foxlowe Arts Centre's Drawing Room Café wall, in Leek.
Exhibitions in the UK and USA.
For most of my life I worked internationally in industry and then in higher education. In Manchester I collaborated with fellow academics, engineers, artists and industry to develop postgraduate education in conceptual design for combined groups of fine art and engineering students. I hold a BA (1st Class Hons) in Fine Art, from Sheffield Hallam University and a Foundation Degree in Creative Art and Design Practice (with distinction), from the University of Derby.
